Andrew F. Buchl of Bella Vista, Arkansas, died September 5th, 2018 in Rogers, Arkansas. Born August 7th, 1929 in Harvey, N.D. Graduated from Rugby High School in 1948 and continued his education by attending Saint John's University graduating in 1952 while also studying one year abroad at the University of Vienna, Austria. After graduation Andy joined the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. Upon his return, Andy moved back to ND becoming an English teacher in Willow City, N.D. where he met and married the love of his life Elaine Leintz on June 17, 1957. After his teaching career Andy and Elaine became successful entrepreneurs beginning with building and operating Andrews Steakhouse. In 1965 Andy branched out by building and operating the Andy B. truck stop. Andy's next business venture was taking over his father's implement dealership, Buchl Implement with his business partner Leroy Johnson. Andy, who always wanting to expand and grow, started Rugby Manufacturing and Rugby Hydraulics. Andy & Elaine's next venture in life was to move to Sioux City, Iowa where he retired from Prince Manufacturing. To allow for a solid 12 months of golfing, Andy and Elaine moved to Bella Vista, Ark. where he stayed active in his church, golf, travel, hunting, piano and most importantly his many friends and family. Andy is survived by his wife Elaine Buchl of 61 years, his son, Jay (Renee) Denver, Colo., Gregg (Laurie) Loveland, Colo., Kurt (Jane) Bozeman MT, Mark (Lisa) Santa Rosa, Calif., Andra, Loveland, Colo. and Mike (Jill) Highlands Ranch, Colo. and the joys of his 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. with Mass of the Resurrection following at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 8th at St. Bernard Catholic Church with Military Honors after.
