Larry Garland

Larry Garland, 69, of Rogers passed away October 28, 2018 at home. He was born March 27, 1949 in Cabot, Arkansas to Louis and Nellie Garland. He graduated from Arkansas State University at Jonesboro with his master's degree. He was a retired Public-School Superintendent. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Vernell Ward, two brothers, Roy Lee Garland, and Donald Ray Garland. He is survived by one son, Louis Brock Garland of Rogers; two daughters, Stephanie (Jerrod) Blockburger of Rogers and Kaylynn (Nathan) Bauer of Rogers, one sister, Bobbye Jean Theiring, two brothers, Tommy Garland and Charles Garland, seven grandchildren, and the mother of his children, Kaye Garland. Visitation will begin 12 noon, Friday, November 2, 2018, the Funeral Service will follow at 1 p.m. and will be held at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th St. in Rogers.
