John Bunch

John Bunch Sr., age 87, of Fayetteville passed away Sunday October 28, 2018. He was born October 3, 1931 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to J.E. and Edyth Stokenbury Bunch. He was preceded in death by his wife Janice on October 18, 2018 and his son John Bunch Jr. He was mayor of Elkins for 10 years and was a volunteer fireman for the Elkins Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years. John was a 50-year member of the Lions Club. He was Chairman at the Bank of Elkins and sold insurance for Chaney Insurance Agency. He was a member of Sequoyah United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. He is survived by his daughter, Carol Milanowski and her husband Brad of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one son, Jason Bunch of Tampa, Florida; one brother, Joel Bunch of Elkins, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Joel Bunch, Ashley Milanowski, John Milanowski, Joshua Bunch and Lily Bunch. Visitation will be 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday November 3, 2018 at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville. Burial of ashes will be in Stokenbury Cemetery in Elkins.
