Judy Gayle Lam, age 64, of Boyds, Maryland died on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 in Rockville, Maryland. She was born July 5, 1954 in Fayetteville , Arkansas the daughter of Connel Dean and Geneva Elizabeth (Hash ) Worley . She was preceded in death by her father Dean Worley. Judy graduated in 1974 from The Arkansas School For The Deaf as Valedictorian. She met Beng Heng Lam in 1975 at Gallaudet University in Washington D.C. and they were married May 12, 1979. In 1985 she served as an international interpreter for foreign deaf athletes and tourists at the Santa Monica/Los Angeles XV World Games for the Deaf. She worked at the Federal Aviation Administration in Washington D.C. for 30 years. Judy is survived by her husband Beng Heng Lam and two sons Justin Lam and Nathaniel Lam of Boyds, Maryland; her mother Geneva Worley, and 2 brothers Troy Worley and wife Vicki, and Tracy Worley of Springdale, Arkansas; and many other family, friends, and loved ones. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 31, at 11:00 A.M. at Moore's Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville. Burial will follow at Goshen Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Funeral Chapel.
