Aileen Nisbett

Aileen Nisbett, 94, of Rogers passed away Oct. 26, 2018 in Rogers. She was born Sept. 18, 1924 in Lawton, Okla., the daughter of Edward Banes and Ileta Pearl Gorman McFarland. Aileen moved to Rogers in 1974 where she taught 5th grade at Southside and Grimes Elementary Schools. She was awarded teacher of the year in 1982. She was preceded in death by husband Pete Nisbett of 67 years and oldest son Jim. She is survived by her children, Lindel Nisbett, daughter-in-law Patti, daughter Carolyn Forester, son-in-law Sam; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services 2 p.m. Monday; Oct. 29, 2018 at the Rogers Cemetery in Rogers, Ark. Visitation Service will be 11:00 a.m.-noon at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th St. Rogers, Ark.
