On Sunday, September 9, 2018, Charles "Buz" Moxon, husband, father, grandpa, friend, passed away suddenly at the age of 86 years. A native of Michigan, Buz served in the Army at the time of the Korean War then attended the University of Michigan. Upon graduation, he attended San Jose State University where he received his Masters of Education degree. After many years working as teacher and administrator in the California public school system, he served as a principal of a Lutheran school. Students enjoyed his crazy hats, ties, and Donald Duck impersonations. He retired to Bella Vista where he spent his golden years enjoying life, participating in many volunteer opportunities including the Bella Vista Men's Chorus, Bella Vista Republican Men's Club and Bentonville Kiwanis as a Terrific Kid volunteer. Buz was preceded in death by his first wife of 27 years, Karen, sons, Peter and Larry and grandson, Jason. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 30 years, Judy, son, Eric (Chris) Moxon, daughters, Stace (Michael) Leoni, Amy (Ed) Slavich, and daughter-in-law, Maurine Damerval. Buz will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Patrick, Alex, Lauren, Benjamin, Zachary, Bryttny, Heather, Jacob, Megan, Alyssa, Mycaela, Abby, Josh, Ellie, Dustin and five great grandchildren. A service will be held for Buz on Saturday, October 27 at 10:00 am at the Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd, Bella Vista, Ark. Donations in memory of Buz may be made to the charity of your choice or to the Bella Vista Lutheran Church College Scholarship Fund.
