Robert Gene Fithian, 92, of Rogers passed away October 14, 2018 in Rogers. He was born March 3, 1926 to Harold and Dovie Fithian in Joplin, Missouri. He served in the Navy during World War II and worked as a plant supervisor at PG&E power plants in California. He was a long-term member of the Masonic Lodge, President of the square dancing club, horse shoe pitching club and President of the high school class. He was the Captain of Football Team, linebacker, all league and all state, Commerce H.S in Commerce, Oklahoma, he also played softball and Tennis. He enjoyed wood working and building cabinets, The Senior Olympics, square dancing, camping, and traveling in their motorhome. He is preceded in death by his wife of 72 years Joy Fithian; daughter Carol Dean Fithian, and brother Donald Joe Fithian. He is survived by his children Randy Fithian wife Christine Fithian, Jo Sue Cervi and husband John, Nancy White and husband Larry, Jean Tarbet and husband Keven, Linda Nicholas and husband Mike and Jim Fithian; his siblings Bill Fithian, Harold Keith Fithian, and Virginia Melton, 22 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Bob was a loving husband and father. He was a great role model to his children and they all adored him. He was liked and admired by all who knew him and had many friends. He will be dearly missed by all who where a precious part of his life. Visitation Services will be 11 a.m. Monday October 22, 2018 at the Hunt Chapel in the Pinnacle Memorial Gardens with the Memorial Service to follow at 12 noon.
