Norma Beth Rabb, 77, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018, in Rogers, Arkansas, surrounded by friends and family. Norma was born on May 28, 1941, in Clarksville, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Norman and Nell Frost. She lived in Fairfax, Virginia, before settling in Sacramento, California, where she raised her family. Norma was passionate about helping others, and volunteered countless hours with the Rio Americano Band Boosters, the California Youth Soccer Association, and the Jazz Jubilee. She and beloved husband Charlie moved to Arkansas in 1997, where they spent the last 20 years in their home overlooking Beaver Lake. Norma had a love for her dogs Tasha and Bentley. Soon after her hard work to certify them as therapy dogs, Norma became affiliated with Helping Paws of Northwest Arkansas, through which she volunteered at Arkansas Children's Hospital, was one of the first members of Runway Rovers at Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport, and worked with pre-kindergarten students to develop reading skills. She was also a member of the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Norma was a member of Bland Chapel United Methodist Church in Rogers, where she served in various capacities, including editor of the church newsletter. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Charlie; son, Mike and his wife Tracie; son, John and his wife Bridget; sister-in-law, Mary Ann; grandchildren, Hannah, Jared, Henley, Braden, Emily and Carmen; dog Bentley; and Pierre le chat. A celebration of Norma's life will be held at Bland Chapel UMC at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Bland Chapel UMC, 8530 Twin Coves Road, Rogers, Ark. 72756.
