Raymond Dale "Shep" Bequette

Raymond Dale "Shep" Bequette, 68, of Gravette went to be with his Lord Friday, Oct. 12, 2018 in Bentonville, Ark. He was born June 21, 1950 in Fayetteville, Ark., to Raymond Bernerd and Julia Lee (Venters) Bequette. He owned Bequette Heat & Air since 1984. He was a member of Church on the Hill in Gravette. He was a member of the U.S. National Guard from 1970 to 1976. He served on the Gravette School Board. He was a lifetime farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law, Bill R. Harrison. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sue; daughter, Tara Banks (Doug) of Pryor, Okla., and grandchild Alexander; daughter, Amy Williams of Gravette, grandchildren, Courtney and Madisyn Williams, and great-grandchild, Ivie; son, Frank Bequette (Tammy) of Gravette, and grandchildren, Shae and Zach; son, Joey Bequette (Krystal) of Gravette, and grandchildren Brooke, Raymond "Kole" and Kase; daughter, Mandy Tucker of Gravette, and grandchildren Karlie and Will; brother Paul Bequette (Gayle) of Pineville; aunt, Jean Hurt of Haven, Kan.; mother-in-law, Jennie Harrison of Salinas, Calif.; second mom Colleen Dickinson of Hiwasse, Ark.; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. at the Bella Vista Funeral Home, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark. 72715. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Church on the Hill, 400 Atlanta St. S.E., Gravette, Ark. 72736. Pastor Jim Starr will officiate.
