Darrell Ray Wilson, 81, passed away November 24, 2018, at his home. He was born November 14, 1937, at Clifty to Henry and Jewell Miller Wilson. Darrell married Christine Miller on November 2, 1958; and together, they were parents to five sons and one daughter. He retired from the Arkansas Forestry Commission after 42 years of service. Darrell was a natural born cowboy, and no job was too big or too small. He was cattle rancher, who also hauled and worked cattle all over Northwest Arkansas. He attended Peoples Mission Church of Alabam and Forum Assembly of God. Darrell is predeceased by his parents; his brother, Buck Miller; and one sister, Nelva Birchfield. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Christine Miller Wilson of the home; five sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Rose Wilson of Huntsville, Mike and Lana Wilson of Huntsville, Joe and Becky Wilson of Wesley, JB and Susan Wilson of Russellville, and Rick and Krissy Wilson of Huntsville; one daughter, Jaylyn Wilson of Huntsville; one brother, Carson Miller of Dallas, Texas; 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, November 25, 2018, at Brashears Funeral Home with Reverend Jack Graham officiating. Pallbearers will be Bob Wilson, Mike Wilson, Joe Wilson, JB Wilson, Rick Wilson, and Bob Beaver. Honorary Pallbearers will be Earl Burks, Jim Beaver, Albert Crow, Harlen Houston, Gary Bohannan, and Harold Sargent. Interment will immediately follow services at Clifty Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
