Zora Ann Bowman

ZORA ANN BOWMAN, 88, of Little Rock, Ark., died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018. She was born Jan. 8, 1930, in Little Rock. She was a member of the Windsong Church of Christ. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She worked for the Mayor of Little Rock, Mr. Merriweather, for many years, and then raised two daughters. She graduated from UALR, as this was one of her goals to further her education. She was a graduate of Central High School, and she attended many high school reunions. She was predeceased by her parents, Zell Love Kennedy and James Love; her son, James Lawrence Bowman; her loving husband of 59 years, Raleigh "Buddy" Lawrence Bowman; and her sister, Jackie Jones. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Bowman and Kathryn Bowman; her grandson, Britton Jackson Nation; and many friends. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, in the chapel of Pinecrest Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 12 p.m. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park.
