Michael Philip Fairhead

Michael Philip Fairhead, age 75, passed away in Rogers at his home on November 10, 2018. He was born on November 6, 1943 in Kansas City, Mo. to John Maurice and Iona (Ballew) Fairhead. He was raised in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mike graduated from Chaminade College Prep in St Louis, Mo., received a BSBA degree from University of Arkansas and an MBA from University of Oklahoma. He was commissioned a 2nd LT US Army in January 1966 and retired as a Lt Colonel US Army in 1990. He was a Purple Heart combat veteran and career Army Artillery Officer. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, John M. Fairhead Jr. He is survived by his longtime companion, Deborah Peachee; son, Philip W. Fairhead of Olympia, Wash.; daughter, Catherine Ann and her husband Michael J. Fox of Olympia, Wash.; former spouse, Susan Wagner; sisters, Patricia and her husband Wayne Sharp of Bethlehem, Pa., Mary Lee and her husband David Shipp of Webster Groves, M., Rosemary Fairhead of Ballwin, Mo.; two grandchildren, Niall and Esther Fox, and numerous beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Rollins Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday in the Rollins Funeral Chapel.
