Richard Thomas Green

Richard Thomas Green, age 72, of Fayetteville passed away Friday November 3, 2018 in Fayetteville. He was born October 5, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois the son John W. and Mary Trent Green. He was preceded in death by his by his parents and two sisters Donna Holzinger and Bobette Gericke. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during Vietnam. He worked as a Cook County Sherriff's Officer in Chicago and was a semi- truck driver for Certified Grocers. When he arrived in Arkansas he worked for Tyson's. He was avid hunter for over 50 years. He is survived by his wife Sandra; a son Richard T Green, Jr. of Chicago, Illinois; a daughter Deborah K. Jones of Springdale; one brother, John W. Green III of Countryside, Illinois; three grandchildren, Brandon, Erin of Chicago and Derek of Springdale and numerous other family members. His wishes were to have no services and his cremated remains will be placed at the hunting lodge in Michigan. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society specifically Brain Cancer 901 N.
