Leroy Reese

Leroy Reese, 90-year-old resident of Fayetteville, Arkansas and longtime resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died on November 3, 2018 at Butterfield Trail Village in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born on May 15, 1928 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, to Edgar Leroy Reese and Lavetta Cartwright Reese. Leroy married Wilma Chamberlain on July 18, 1950 in Siloam Springs. He graduated from John Brown University with a Bachelor's Degree in Religious Education and a minor in Business Management and Building Construction and Design. He worked at Bear Brand Hosiery for 21 years, and was the plant manager for 15 of those years. Leroy was a member of the Siloam Springs Rotary Club, where he was a past President. He was a member of the Siloam Springs Bible Church for over 40 years. For 23 years, he was an active vendor at the historic Farmer's Market on the square in Fayetteville. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one grandson. He is survived by his wife, Wilma; one son, James Reese of Siloam Springs; three daughters, Sharon Ball and husband Mike Robertson of Owasso, Oklahoma, Suzanne Hanna and husband Kenneth of Rose, Oklahoma, and Sylvia Pannett and husband Jason of Siloam Springs; eight grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Siloam Springs Bible Church's new location, 927 S Oak Hill St., with Pastor Larry Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Siloam Springs Bible Church.
