Bella Vista — A Godly man of honor, Bobby Eugene Richardson, was called to his heavenly home and family Monday, Oct. 29, 2018, after a long battle with dementia, Parkinson's, COPD and RA. Born Sept. 12, 1935, in Florence County, Ala., he moved to Texas after serving his country with a top-secret clearance, in the United States Army Signal Corp., during the Korean War. He met his wife of 59 years, Sue, in Dallas, and went to work for Sun Oil, now Anadarko Petroleum, from which he retired. After moving to Arkansas, he founded and served as CEO of ADS Properties, a real estate rental company. He was a member of New Life Christian Church of Bella Vista. His only hobby was fishing and lake activities with his wife and son, Don (Donald Eugene). He and Sue followed Don to Arkansas to help after the grandchildren, Reece Anthony, 10, and Renee Suanne, 12, were born. His son and grandchildren were the absolute apple of his eye, and his prayer for them was that they would always act with honor and do the right thing, characteristics he modeled in everything throughout his life. His greatest concerns were the effects on his children of the godlessness taking place in our society and elected officials calling wrong right and voting accordingly. Bobby was preceded in death by his mother, father, brother and both sisters. He is survived by his beloved wife, son, and grandchildren; his devoted niece, Karen; and several other nieces and nephews in Dallas. He was deeply loved by his family, and his love for his Savior, his honor, devotion to his family, and righteousness will be missed. Services Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018, 11 a.m.; visitation 10-11 a.m., New Life Christian Church, 103 Riordan Road, Bella Vista, Ark. 72715. In lieu of flowers, we ask donations go to the church. Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory. Online condolences may be made at www.funeralmation.com.
