Hiram Alva Test Jr.

Hiram Alva Test Jr. was born on June 23, 1928 in Elm Springs, Arkansas to Hiram Alva Test Sr. and Maggie Belle Lowe Test. Hiram graduated from Springdale High School in 1946. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Army and served one year as a paratrooper in Japan. For his service he received an Occupational Medal and a World War II Victory Medal. He then married Mary Pierce in 1948. They were married for 45 years and had three children. Hiram worked as a printer in Springdale Arkansas and in Tulsa where he later retired. While living in Tulsa, Hiram was an active member of the 11th Airborne Division Association and a Tulsa CB club. He also loved to fish from the docks of his lake home on Lake Hudson. Grandchildren and family were very important to him. Hiram was preceded in death by wife, Mary who passed from this life in 1993, his parents, son, Phillip, brother, Clement his wife and three children, and his sister, Mary. He is survived by; two daughters, Anita and husband Ben of Claremore and Mary of Claremore, five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and one due in August 2018, brother, Scott and wife Connie and sister Martha. A private Memorial Service will be held on a later date.
