William T. Gibbons Jr.

William T. Gibbons Jr., 62, of Springdale, passed away at his home on May 16, 2018. He was born June 30, 1955 in Smyrna, Delaware to William Sr, and Mary Clough Gibbons. William was a truck driver. He enjoyed reading, loved animals, gardening and driving a truck. He served honorably four years in the United States Navy. He loved joking with his nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include two brothers, Phillip Gibbons of Springdale; and Kenneth Gibbons and wife Cindy of South Carolina; sister Teresa Sweat of Springdale; six nieces: Valarie, Ashley, Sarah Beth, Sandra Marie, Dichilyn Ann, and Taylor Alexandra; and nephew Maxwell. Also many great-nieces, great nephews, other family members and friends. Memorial Services will be held at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale on Friday, May 18 starting at 2 p.m. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 1pm at the funeral home.
