Peggy Jo Gobble

Peggy Jo Gobble, 79, of Rogers passed away May 11, 2018. She was born June 4, 1938 in Monte Ne to the late daughter of Arvil and Syble Taylor Clardy. After the passing of her father she was raised by her grandparents Alfred and Laura Clardy. Peggy formerly worked for Walmart. She graduated from Rogers High School in 1956 and a member of Monte Ne Baptist Church. She is also preceded in death by four siblings Larry Clardy, Mary Helen Clardy, Doyle Rigsbee and Joann Harris, one great grandson Jayden Tyler. Peggy is survived by the love of her life James Gobble of the home, they were married Sept. 7, 1957, two children Carla Hency and Luther Gobble both of Garfield; three brothers Roland Clardy of Hiwasse, Eddie Rigsbee of Fayetteville and Tommy Rigsbee of Rogers; two grandchildren Stacey and Emily, three great grandchildren, she loved her family and many friends. Graveside service 11 a.m. Tuesday; May 15, 2018 at Ruddick Cemetery, Garfield, Ark., with Pastor Gene Layman, officiating. Arrangements by Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers.
