Sherri Grimsley Sherwin

Sherri Grimsley Sherwin, 63, of Bella Vista passed away Monday, April 23, 2018, in Springfield, Missouri. She was born February 5, 1955 in Springdale to Roy L. and Katie Alter Grimsley. She graduated from Springdale High School in 1973 and then attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where she earned her bachelor's degree in 1978. Sherri loved social events and spending time with friends and family. She was always the life of any party and went out of her way to greet everyone around her. Sherri enjoyed arts and crafts and was usually found trying to repurpose items to create something useful and beautiful. She was preceded in death by her mother, Katie Alter Grimsley. Survivors include her husband, Lawrence "Larry" Sherwin, her daughters, Sarah Reid and husband, Matthew, of Holt, Michigan, and Rachel Carpenter and husband Malcolm, of Rogers, Arkansas, her grandson, Isaac Reid, her father, Roy L. Grimsley and his wife, Donna, her siblings, Karen Ward and her husband, Tommy, Leah Darling and her husband, David, and Bryan Grimsley and his wife, Brenda, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorial services will be Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 4 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church at 2535 West New Hope Road, Rogers, Arkansas with Rev. Dawn Spragg officiating.
