Carol Jennings

Carol Jennings, 92, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018, at her home in Wabeno, Wis. Carol was born November 16, 1925, the daughter of Jesse and Katherine (Lowe) Wright. She was married to Roland Lee Jennings on March 19, 1948, in Dallas, Texas. He preceded her in death August 19, 1991. Carol graduated from North Texas State University and spent 34 years as an elementary school teacher in Texas and Northern California. She was known as a Master Teacher and was nominated for National Teacher of the Year. Carol was an elder in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A). Surviving her are her son, Rev. Roland Lee (Rebecca) Jennings, Jr., and her two beloved grandchildren, Samuel and Sarah. A memorial service for Carol will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Forest Larger Parish Presbyterian Church, Wabeno, with Pastor Lee Jennings officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Forest Larger Parish Presbyterian Church.
