Donald Elmer Witte

Donald Elmer Witte of Rogers passed away on March 19, 2018. He was born on June 7, 1924 in Ida Grove, Iowa. He was the 10th of 12 children born to Henry Witte and Magdalena Wunschel. Donald received his education in the Ida and Sac county schools in Iowa. He was a WWII veteran serving in the Navy in 1945 and 1946. He worked as a carpenter for 43 years in the construction of homes, schools, churches, and many other buildings in western Iowa and northwest Arkansas. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bentonville. He is survived by his wife, Wilma; seven children; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Richard; and his 11 siblings. Arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers. www.RollinsFuneral.com.
