Delbert Clyde Clark

Delbert Clyde Clark, 93, passed away March 16, 2018 at home. He was born June 10, 1924 in Clifty, to Clyde and Eunice Hinds Clark. Delbert was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army, he had also owned several businesses throughout his life, in the 1940's he started Clark Produce in Springdale, later moving to Utah to work in the timber industry moving back to Forum, Arkansas in the 1960's to start a lumber mill, Delbert started Clark& Sons Lumber in Davis, Okla. in 1985. He went to Florida in 2004 to helped with clean up of Hurricane Charley. He is survived by one son, Matthew Clark of Davis, Oklahoma; seven daughters and four sons-in-law, Debra Bulger of Siloam Springs, Deloris Jones, Melinda and David Smith, Pat and Dennis Rogers, Renee and Brad Holt, Jeanine and David Hoskins, Kitty Starnes all of Huntsville; 32 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren. Delbert is preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty Scates Clark, two sons, Michael Clark, Mitchell Clark, four brothers, Jack Clark, Gene Clark, Loren Clark, Bill Clark, four grandchildren Allison Hoskins, Samuel Starnes, Cleve Siegrist, Dama Siegrist, one great grandchild, Kayla Dotson. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 23, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Coy Siegrist and Brandon Rogers officiating. Interment will be in Clark Cemetery immediately following the services. Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 22, at Brashears Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Josh Starnes, Aaron Rogers, Rick Clark, Bryan Rogers, Clark Smith, Zach Jones. In lieu of flowers family request you make donations to the charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory.
