William Wayne "Bill" Bliss

William W. (Bill) Bliss, 92 of Rogers, died March 6, 2018 at Circle of Life Hospice Home at Legacy Village in Bentonville. Bill was born June 30, 1925 in Lincoln, Ill., the youngest of five children of A.B. and Blanche (Worden) Bliss. He was preceded in death by Barbara, his wife of over sixty years, his parents, two brothers and two sisters. He was a protestant. Survivors include three daughters; Vicki Jackson, (Charles), Torrance, Calif; Kathy Purgason, (Chris), Lompoc Calif; Sandy Bamburg, (Jarrett), McKinney, Texas, and one son, Scott Bliss, (Kendra), Rogers, Ark.; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at Rollins Funeral Home, 1401 W. Hudson Rd., Rogers, at 11 a.m on Saturday, March 10 with John Chelstrom officiating. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Rogers-Bentonville Elks Lodge #2144, 501 S 40th St, Rogers, Ark. 72758, the same day, starting at 1 p.m. Interment will be at a later date with attendance only by immediate family members.
