Lois Jeanne Fisher

Lois Jeanne Fisher, 85 years, of Tucson, Arizona passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 24, 2018, 5 p.m. at St. Mary's Hospital, Tucson, Arizona. Her remains will be taken to her birth state of Missouri by her immediate family. Formerly Lois Jeanne Hiett, Formerly Lois Jeanne Phelps, Lois Jeanne Kluner (maiden name). She was born on September 12, 1932 in DeSoto, Missouri to A.R. Kluner and Emma C. Kluner. She attended high school in Venice, California. She married Joe Hiett in 1949 and had her only child, Christopher Steven Hiett in Venice, Calif. She divorced Joe Hiett in 1951. She married Jack Phelps in 1954 in Las Vegas, Nev. and moved to Jane, Mo. in 1961. Jack Phelps passed away in 1965 in Jane, Mo. She then moved to Bella Vista, Ark. in 1965. She re-married Joe Hiett in 1969, they lived in N.W. Arkansas and moved to Tucson, Ariz., in 1979 where she worked at AGM until retirement in 1994. Joe Hiett passed away in 1994 and Lois remained in Tucson until she married Robert Fisher in 2000. Robert "Bob" Fisher passed away in April of 2012. Lois Jeanne Fisher is preceded in death by her husbands: Joe Hiett, Jack Phelps, and Robert Fisher; as well as her brothers: Buddy Tracy, Don Tracy, sisters, Marion Tracy, and Jackie Tracy. She is survived by one sister Betty Thayer, her only son, Christopher Steven Hiett, her grand children: Christopher Scott Hiett, Christina S. Martell, Julie A. Ross, and great grand children: Aiden R. Ross, Ava J. Ross and Maryn J. Martell. She led an adventurous life of love and happiness. She took many international trips, including her favorite, to China. She and her late husband, Bob loved to cruise the Pacific, Caribbean and explore the greater US. She loved jazz music, playing piano, gardening and spending time with family. She will be greatly missed.
