Kastler "Kas" Taylor, Jr.

Kastler Taylor Jr. -- known to friends as "Kas" -- passed away on February 27, 2018. He was 82 years old. A native of Denver, Colo., Kas attended Colorado State University and graduated with a degree in zoology. He served in the U.S. Army and started several small businesses during his career. He and his wife, Annalee, retired and built a home on Beaver Lake in 1999. Kas was known for his woodworking skills, memoir writing, sense of humor and love of nature. Many of his hand-carved signs can be seen throughout the Rogers area, including the Rocky Branch Volunteer Fire Department and Bland Chapel. Kas is survived by his wife of 61 years, Annalee, sons, Michael (Susan), Dan (Wendy) and Chris (Barbara), daughters, Anna Marie (Tim), Jennie (Chad), and Susie (Stephen), his sister, Gale (Alan) and 13 grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 3rd from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1416 W Poplar Street in Rogers. Burial will be held afterwards at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery. After the services, friends and family are invited to a reception at Las Fajitas in Bella Vista from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Online condolences may be made at www.funeralmation.com.
