Dollie B Black, 77, of Springdale passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born April 3, 1940 in Crosses, Arkansas to Byron and Lona Long Warford. Dollie and her late husband worked for the city of Fayetteville managing Lake Fayetteville Boat Dock for many years. She was a Freewill baptist. She loved fishing and hunting morel mushrooms. She was an excellent cook and a loving mother. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James "Jim" Black Jr., one brother, Norman J. Warford and two sisters, Lena Lee (Jo) Hankins and Wilda Jean Keller. Survivors include one son, Danny R. Warford of Fayetteville; one step son, James Black, III of Bentonville; four brothers, Willis Warford of Baldwin, Dewey Warford of West Fork, Johnny Warford of McCord and Garrett Warford of Elkins;two sisters, Geraldine Colman of Baldwin and Mildred Roach of Fayetteville; two step-grandchildren, Hannah and Sarah Black. A memorial service will be Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church in Springdale with Pastor Clark Snow officiating.
