Rudolph (Rudy) Hollis of Lowell passed away on Sunday June 24th, 2018. Born October 22, 1935 in Spearsville, Louisiana, Rudy graduated from Spearsville High School. He attended one year at NE Louisiana College and served 14 years in the U. S. Navy in both the Cuban Missile Crisis and Vietnam war (three tours). He is a member of the Westside church of Christ. Hollis owned upholstery businesses in both Poway, Cslig. and Lowell, Ark. Rudy is preceded in death by his parents and sons, Mark Steven and Jeremy Allan Hollis; and brothers, Claude and Kelly Hollis. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marilyn (Milam) Hollis, his daughter, Kim Province of Coldspring, Texas; grandchildren, Jennifer Lane and Aaron of San Angelo, Texas, Tabitha Wright of El Reno, Okla. Kayla Bush of Cleveland, Texas, Camille Williams and Brian of Cleveland, Texas, Haley Scales and Dalton of Ogden, Utah, Matthew Province of Coldspring, Texas, Hunter Hollis, Kelsey Hollis of Rogers, Ark., and Jeremy and Cheyenne Hollis of Hominy, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren Camilla and Isabel Lane, Hannah and Brianna Wright, Sam Bush, and True and Arya Scales, Emillia Williams, and Jaxx Hollis. Visitation will be June 29th between 6-8 p.m. at Benton County Memorial Cemetery. A Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. June 30th at 5000 Arkanshire Circle, Springdale, Ark. Burial will follow the service at the Benton County Cemetery.
