Marvin Dean Rehl, "Doc" as he was known to his friends, passed away on June 23, 2018 in Rogers. He was born on July 19, 1940 in Longdale, Oklahoma to the late Sam and Louise (McClaflin) Rehl. He was the loving husband of Jennie Bea (Sheets) Rehl. He loved his family, friends, playing bridge and blackjack, traveling and especially his church. He was a basketball and track coach and then superintendent of schools for both the public and private sectors in Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Pamela (Booher) Rehl; and brother, Bill Rehl. Doc is survived by his wife, Jennie Bea; son, Kevin Rehl and his wife, Kerry; daughter, Kimberly Johnson and husband, Alan; stepson, Tyler Brooks and wife, Julia; brother, Larry Rehl and wife, Beverly; six grandchildren and two great-grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. He will be remembered for his awesome blue eyes and warm smile, his laughter and quick wit, but mostly for his huge generous heart. He loved fiercely. A visitation will be on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 1-2 p.m. with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2 p.m. in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel.
