David John Fahlsing of Bella Vista, Ark., passed away June 12, 2018 on his 62nd birthday. He was surrounded by family and beloved dog Duchess, in the comfort of his home. He was born in Lisbon, N.D., to Harold Franklin and Lorraine (Dick) Fahlsing. David was raised in Linton, N.D., and joined the Air Force specializing in Civil Engineering. He retired in Alamogordo, N.M., after 20 years. Following his military service he worked as Project Manager with QSI for multiple medical facilities at Holloman AFB. He and his wife, Debbie decided to move to Northwest Arkansas to be near family and the Razorbacks. David enjoyed fishing, bird watching, home projects and gardening. He was jack of all trades, a real MacGyver. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, quick wit, selflessness, and generosity. Above all, David showed his love for people, family, and their well-being. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Bentonville Ark. David is survived by his wife Debbie, daughters Tina Rios, Lisa Neill, Tanya Justice, and step-daughters Natalie Smith, Heather Cargill and 12 grandchildren. He is also survived by mother, Lorraine Fahlsing, brothers Dick, Dan (twin), Dean and sisters Pat Kelsch, Darcy Dana, Kristy Llerenas, Amy Rohrich. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 2 p.m., First United Methodist Church, 201 NW Second St., Bentonville, Ark. 72712, conducted by Rev. Dr. Kurt Boggan. Memorial Donations may be made to: Brain Tumor Research Program at M.D. Anderson in Houston, Texas, First United Methodist Church Bentonville, or Bella Vista Animal Shelter.
