Marceline Allen Evans

Marceline Allen Evans, 93, of Tulsa, Okla., went to be with her Lord on June 7, 2018 in Tulsa, Okla. Marceline married Horace Evans in April 1951. They had six children and retired in Morrow, Ark. She is survived by four children: Mona Johnson; Myra Eppright; Gregory Evans; and Mylena Alred. She is also survived by six grandchildren; Anthony; Kole; Trey; Matt; Jacob, and Kessie; nieces Louise Baird and Deborah Allen Tellier; nephews Bobby Lee Allen and Billy Wayne Allen. Marceline was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Earl Allen, Orbie Lee Allen, and Bill W. Allen; sister Minnie Ruth Carney; son Gary Evans; daughter Marie Evans; and grandson Josh Evans. She was a devoted Christian and a member of the Church of Christ. She made an impact in every community she resided in-her love of God, singing, quilting, helping people in need, life, family, friends - inspired others and has affected many lives. Marceline will be remembered as a shining light in the various communities and churches she served. There will be a celebration of her life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Porta Caeli House in Tulsa, Okla., where she was lovingly cared for during her last days.
