Alisa Miyuki Pace, 53, of Bentonville passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 4, 2018. She was born May 8, 1965 in Fontana, Calif., to Jim Meek and the late Chieko Endo Tsutsumi. Alisa enjoyed traveling, teaching her students, camping, cooking, animals and especially getting together celebrating holidays with her family and friends. For nearly 12 years she was the loving wife of Edward Pace who survives. Other survivors include her step-father, Kunio Tsutsumi; her children, Alisha Lea (husband, Lynn) of Oklahoma and Aaron Pace (wife, Kimberlee) of Rogers; her grandchildren, Thomas, Dillon, Quinn, Ella, Melanee, Aurora and Evie; her brothers, Sam Meek (wife, Toni Marie) and Tomo Meek (wife, Toni Lynn); her chosen sister, Debora Olson (husband, Robert) of Oregon; her chosen brothers, Eric McMahan of Oklahoma and Bud Price of Bentonville; many nieces and nephews; numerous extended family and dear friends. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, June 11, 2018 in First Baptist Church of Cave Springs. Visitation will begin prior to her service at 1 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow in Phillips Cemetery near Cave Springs. Arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Condolences may be expressed at www.RollinsFuneral.com.
