Paula Lee York, 71, of Rogers, passed away Friday, June 1, 2018 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born February 9, 1947 in Paris, Arkansas to James Stanley Dombek and Lillian Shirley Dombek. She was a certified public accountant and worked with Walmart in the home office for over twenty years. She enjoyed traveling and was fortunate to have visited many different countries around the world. When at home, she kept her hands busy by gardening, crafting and making beautiful quilts. Paula's true passion was her precious family. She put others before herself and loved unconditionally. She had a deep faith in God and started each day by reading her Bible. Paula was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Rogers. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Fred and Jim Dombek. Paula is survived by her husband, David York; step-son, Craig York and wife, Wendy Lynch of Plano, Texas; son, Clinton Hutchinson and wife, Mary of Little Rock, Arkansas; grandchildren, Lilly, Melissa and David Hutchinson; daughter, Darla Goff and husband, Brandon of Waldron, Arkansas; and three brothers, Bob Dombek and wife, Judy of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Don Dombek and wife, T.J. of Fayetteville, Arkansas and George Dombek and wife, Sandy of Goshen, Arkansas. Memorial services will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Central United Methodist Church in Rogers with the Rev. Jim Lenderman officiating. Memorials may be made in memory of Paula York to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, Okla., 73123.
