Patricia "Patti" Anne Corey

Patricia "Patti" Anne Corey, 64, passed from this life on July 24, 2018 in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born in Austin, Texas on September 16, 1953 to Richard and Elisabeth (Schlichtherle) Corey. She was a member of St. Jude's the Apostle Catholic Church, Jacksonville, Ark. She first moved to Jacksonville in 1958 when her father received his assignment to Little Rock AFB and deeply loved her hometown. She graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1971. Patti spent over 30 years of her career at the Arkansas Federal Credit Union in Jacksonville before her retirement in 2015. She enjoyed her work and cherished the many friendships she made over the years. She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeremy Corey Smith and wife Anna of Jacksonville, Ark.; Patrick Smith and wife Leslie of Springdale, Ark.; her beloved grandchildren, Madeline, Ethan, Geneva, Lexa, and Evan; one brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Virginia Corey, of Charleston, Ark.; nephew and wife, Adam J. and Rita Corey, of Misawa, Japan and great-nephew, Vincent. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Westfield Chapel Funeral Home, Springdale, Ark. A rosary service will be held Wednesday, August 1st at 10 a.m., St. Jude's the Apostle Catholic Church, Jacksonville, Ark. The family would like to thank Katherine's Place, Fayetteville and Circle of Life Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's the Apostle Catholic Church, Jacksonville, Ark.
