Miles Yates Jr.

Miles Yates Jr., 48, of Canehill, Arkansas, died January 21, 2018 at Rogers. He was born December 7, 1969 at Huntsville, the son of Miles Yates and Judy McQuiston. Miles was a master mechanic and a member of Prairie Grove Christian Church. Survivors include: his wife, Sonja Kidd Yates of the home; two sons, Chad Kidd who is deployed with the US Navy, and Chevy Yates of the home; five daughters, Shanbry McVey of Tontitown; Renea Kidd of Green Forest; and Shannon Yates, Chevelle Yates and Haven Sisemore of the home; one brother, Carl Yates of Prairie Grove; one sister, Sheila Boyd of Springdale; his mother and step-father, Judy and James Davis of Hindsville; his father, Miles Yates of Huntsville; his maternal grandmother, Wanda Howard of Hindsville; and his grandchildren, ZoeJane Kidd, Audrey Kidd, Alex Martin, Skylar McVey, and Rori McVey. Miles was predeceased by one son, Jesse Dirkhising, and his paternal grandparents. The family will receive friends Thursday January 25 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory in Huntsville. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 26 in the Bruce Brashears Chapel with Vance Eubanks officiating. Pallbearers will be: Adam Yates, Kyle Yates, Raymond Martin, Tim Lant, Levi Curtis, Jim Coleman, and Darrel Easter.
