John R. Frickson

John R. Frickson, 79, of Bella Vista, Ark., passed away Jan. 18, 2018, at Washington Regional Hospital. He was born Sept. 7, 1938, to Richard and Marie Frickson in Freeport, Ill. John proudly served in the US Navy. He worked for Chrysler Corporation as a work coordinator. John moved to Bella Vista from Rockford, Ill., in 1995. He played with the Jelly Bellies for a while until he realized he hated golf. John enjoyed being a part of Fly Tyers. He loved his many fishing trips to Canada. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 34 years, Mary Kay Frickson of the home; son, Ken (Tracy) Frickson of Rockton, Ill.; daughters, Rose Frickson of Love's Park, Ill, Julie Garza of Las Vegas, N.V., Molly Jo (Phillip) McGinnis and Erin McGinnis, both of Aurora, Colo.; sisters, Jane (Donald) Stacy of Winnebago, Ill., Judy Pauley and Joyce Jones both of Rockford, Ill.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 24, at Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark.
