Jay Warren Herring Jr., age 72, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. She was born on September 12, 1945, in El Dorado, Arkansas, to John and Jay Richeson Warren Herring. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Brady Herring Green. Jay, also known as "Jady" to friends and family, will be missed terribly by those who loved her. Her voice, whether singing in the choir on Sundays or in nightclubs when she was young, was beautiful and will always be remembered. Her play, whether battling the latest 5000 piece puzzle, dominating in the pool hall or gathering with family for the annual game of Mexican train, will always be remembered with her ever-present smile. Her stories, whether reliving memories at the dinner table or sharing life with reconnections, will always be remembered. And her faith, strong, loving and unaltered will always be remembered and respected by all who have known her. She is survived by her son, Andy Langley and wife Michelle and children of El Dorado; her three siblings, Becca Garner of West Fork, Mell Stephens and husband Bob of Jonesboro, and Alex Herring and wife Linda of The Woodlands, Texas; and many nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial service honoring her life held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1225 Zion Rd., Fayetteville, Ark. 72703.
