Janice Harriet Scibetta

Janice Harriet Scibetta, 80, of Bella Vista, Ark. passed away on Jan. 8, 2018 at Mercy Hospital, Rogers, Ark. Jan was born Jan. 24, 1937 in St Louis, Mo., to Clifford and Flossie Proffer Johnson. She was the youngest of 5 children. Jan married the love and light of her life Vincent (Jim) J. Scibetta on Aug. 28, 1954. Jim and Jan were blessed with a son, James Vincent. They spent 46 happy years together until Jim passed away in 2000. Jan was very proud of her granddaughters Alexandra and Arielle who called her "Grandmommy". She found great comfort in the company of her dog Greta. Jan leaves behind her son, James Scibetta and his wife, Lisa; her grandchildren, Alexandra Scibetta Quigley, and Arielle Scibetta; sister, Jo Gahn and sister-in-law, Kathy Baker; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Jan. 13, 2018 at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel. Following with a graveside service at 2 p.m., at the Bella Vista Cemetery.
