Nell Drue Jordan

Nell Drue Jordan, 86 year old resident of Decatur, Arkansas, died February 22, 2018 at Apple Creek Health and Rehab, Centerton, Arkansas. Born October 15, 1931, in Gentry, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Clarence Edmondson and Mary McGee Edmondson. Nell and Cecil Jordan were married July 28, 1967 in Bentonville, Arkansas. She worked as an administrative assistant for Peterson Industries, Daisy Manufacturing, and Little and Enfield Law Office. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Gene and Eudean Edmondson, and two sisters, Maxine Sherman and Mary Jane Edmondson. Survivors include her husband, Cecil of the home; children, Rickey Ratcliff and wife Diana of Milton, Tennessee, Kathy Patterson and husband David of Gentry, Arkansas, Diane Slater of Malvern, Arkansas, J.D. Jordan of Bentonville, Arkansas, Sandy Jones of Bentonville, Arkansas, Ronald Jordan and wife Diane of Malvern, Arkansas and Donald Jordan of Malvern, Arkansas; 18 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; brother, Bud Edmondson of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and sister Katherine Nelson of Huntsville, Arkansas. Funeral services will be 3 p.m., Monday February 26, 2018 at First Baptist Church, Gentry, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Gentry Cemetery, Gentry, Arkansas.
