Robert Lee Burks

Robert Lee Burks, 76, of Bentonville passed away February 22 at Springdale Health and Rehab. He was born January 8, 1942 in Miami, Oklahoma to Clarence Raymond Burks and Nora Faye Smith Burks. Robert enjoyed the outdoors, and was a hunter, fisherman, and archer. He and his family had lived in Northwest Arkansas since 1992 after moving from Grove, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents. Robert is survived by his wife, Lorene of Bentonville, one daughter, Traci Sanchez of Altus, Oklahoma, one son, John Burks of Bentonville, one sister, Martha Duffell (James) of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, and five grandchildren: Nicolas, Justin, Ryan, Carson, and Kati Sanchez, all of Altus, Oklahoma. Visitation will be Sunday, February 25 from 6-8 p.m. at Epting Funeral Home of Bentonville. Funeral services will be Monday, February 26 at 10 a.m. at Crossroads Baptist Church in Bentonville.
