Ruby Ellen Williams, age 94, a resident of Springdale, Arkansas, passed from this life to be forever present with her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Windcrest Health and Rehab in Springdale. She was born July 4, 1923 in Hominy, Oklahoma, the daughter of John Wiley and Lillie Bell (Adams) Woodward. She was the second oldest of 12 children. Ruby lived the largest part of her life in the Lincoln and Prairie Grove areas. She enjoyed almost any activity involving the outdoors especially tending to her garden, her flowers and just going for walks in the woods. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Diane Leyva, one grandson, John Leyva, three brothers, George, Doyle and Bill, four sisters, Vesta Gates, Marie Richards, Eula Dill, and Shirley Strutz. She is survived by five children, four sons, Richard Henderson and wife Mary of Fayetteville, Tommy Henderson of Tulsa, Oklahoma, David Henderson of Kansas City, Missouri, and Anthony (Tony) Leyva and wife Krystle of Sheldon, Missouri, and one daughter, Rhonda Nickel and husband Fred of Savoy, Arkansas; 13 grandchildren Nadica, Daniel, Melanie, Melissa, Josh, Joe, Jon, Breck, Brandi, Ashley, Tonya, Wraith, and Kale; 22 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Junior, Chester and Sonny; one sister, Ann Harrison and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation and celebration of Ruby's life will held Saturday, February 24, 2018, 9-10 a.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel with funeral service to follow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the Summers Cemetery, there will be no graveside services held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Main Street Baptist Church (Connection House), P.O. Box 847 Farmington, Arkansas 72730.
