Richard Bell

Richard Bell, 94, of Hindsville, Arkansas, died February 4, 2018, at home. He was born November 27, 1923, at Langley to Charley and Ester Jones Bell. Richard was a founding member of Crossroads Community Church and was predeceased by his parents; five brothers, Roy Bell, Fay Bell, James Bell, Lawrence Bell, and Billy Gene Bell; and two sisters, Ruth Turner and Laura Kehn. He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Verna Bisom Bell of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Danna Bell, Rocky and Lori Bell, and Ronnie and Debbie Bell all of Hindsville; one daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Bob Parks of Hindsville; ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 6, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory in Huntsville. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 7, at Crossroads Community Church with Minster Charles Bell and Pastor Rocky Bell officiating. Pallbearers will be Chris Bell, Chuck Bell, Craig Bell, Jamie Parks, Richie Bell, Kyle Bell, and Austin Bell. Honorary pallbearers will be Chuck Huskey, Paul Corlett, and A.T. Smith.
