Bonnie Lou Black of Rogers passed away on August 28, 2018. She was born on January 30, 1939 in Fayetteville to the late Herbert Edward and Rachel Ann Logue. Bonnie worked as a teacher in Conway at Ida Burns Elementary. She was active in the church community at the Second Baptist Church in Conway, where her husband Kendell was pastor. In Rogers she was a member of the First Baptist Church. She dedicated her life to her school, her church, and her family. Bonnie's survivors include her sons, Dr. Randall Black (wife Cynthia) of Rogers, Kendell Ray Black (wife Azalea) of Memphis, Tenn., Lendell Black (wife Heather) of Nashville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Betsy Black, Bonnie Black Mitchell, David Black, Elizabeth Black, George Black, Nicole Leachman; siblings, Clarence Logue, Paul Logue, Ruby Logue Sullivan; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kendell Wayne Black; and siblings, Ed Logue, Eugene Logue, Raymond Logue, Mary Cook, Mamie Smith, Robert Logue, Ann Thorpe, Gladys Bryant, Earl Logue, and Ruth Bartz. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 31 at Rogers First Baptist Church on Pleasant Grove Rd. Burial will take place at 2 p.m. at Baptist Ford Cemetery in Greenland, Ark. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rogers First Baptist Food Pantry or to Circle of Life Hospice.
