Margarette Ragland

Margarette Marie Ragland, 72, of Rogers, died August 22, 2018 at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born September 25, 1945 in Edinburg, Texas. Margarette was a born again Christian and baptized at Seligman First Baptist Church many years ago. Margarette married Jimmie Ray Ragland February 23, 1970. Margarette was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, traveling, camping and fishing. She is preceded in death by her parents, Noel and Juanita DeBouver; her biological mother, Evie Martin; a son, Glen Jefferson Ragland; twin grandsons, Joshua Ray Ragland and Jacob Charles Ragland; grandson, Justin Patrick O'Leary; two brothers, Noel DeBouver, Jr. and Hugh Martin; a sister, Mary Ellen DeBouver. Survivors are her devoted husband, Jimmie Ragland of the home; daughters, Sandra Ragland of Alvin, Texas, Debra Ragland -Taylor and husband Allen Taylor of Shell Knob, Missouri; a son, Johnny Ragland and fiancee Nina Warren of Bella Vista, Arkansas; her two adopted kids, Kevin and Denise Rivers of Rogers, Arkansas; daughter-in-law, Janeice Russell of Pasadena, Texas; two brothers, John Martin and James Martin of Texas; two sisters, Diane Partida of Texas, Josephine Garza of Texas; grandchildren, Clayton O'Leary, Wesley and Andrea Taylor, Jason and Chell Taylor, Janay and Seth Myers, Jordyn Ragland, Jaira and Mathew Jenkins and 18 great-grandchildren. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge, Arkansas. Visitation is set for 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018 at the funeral home.
