Addie Lee Colclasure, 98, of Rogers, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Addie was born January 30, 1920 in Anadarko, Oklahoma and was the last surviving child of the late Sterling Merit Tarpley and Winnie Pearl Key Tarpley. Following graduation from Oklahoma College for Women, in Chickasha, she began her career as a Registered Dietician and practiced for 14 years in the Panama Canal Zone. For 41 years, she was the loving wife of Walter Edgel Colclasure. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her two sons, David and Randy Colclasure and a grandson, Freddy Colclasure. Mrs. Colclasure was very involved in the activities of each of her churches through the years and spent many hours reading and studying the Bible. She was a member of Bentonville Wesleyan Nazarene Church, the Panama Canal Society and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. For many years she enjoyed collecting stones and mineral specimens before sawing, tumbling or faceting to extract their beauty, but she loved the time she shared with her family. Survivors include her daughter, Marian Colclasur of Rogers; her grandchildren, Wendy Kurtz (Brian) of Pea Ridge, and Danny Colclasure of Rogers; her great-grandchildren, Randy, Ryan, Gabriel, Lorien and Jacob; numerous extended family members; her church family and dear friends. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m.this evening at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville, and her Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m., tomorrow, August 25, 2018 at Bentonville Wesleyan Nazarene Church. Interment will be Monday in Memory Lane Cemetery, in Anandarko, Oklahoma. Memorials are suggested to Bentonville Wesleyan Nazarene Church, 505 NW 5th Street, Bentonville, Arkansas 72712.
