Emmett Wayne Gideon

A funeral service for Emmett Wayne Gideon, age 83, of Lowell, AR, is scheduled at 1 p.m. in the afternoon Thursday, August 9, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Frankston. Rev. Scott Wiley will officiate. Mr. Gideon will be laid to rest at Frankston City Cemetery in Frankston. Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Frankston. Mr. Gideon passed away Monday, August 6, 2018 in Rogers, Ark. He was born July 14, 1935 in New York, Texas to Joseph Samuel and Ila Mae (Hopson) Gideon. Wayne was a member of William F. Foster Masonic Lodge. He previously served as a volunteer fireman, was a Shriner and Lions Club member. He was also a member of First Baptist Church, Frankston. Mr. Gideon was preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Sandra Jo Gideon of Lowell, Ark.; daughters, Patricia Lynn Maley and husband Tim of Conroe, Texas, and Nanci Gail Feagans and husband Brad of Rogers, Ark.; son, David Wayne Gideon and wife Sonia of Aurora, Colo. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Brad Feagans, Tim Maley, Brandon Feagans, Scooter Keeter, Dru Dunlap, and James Rivers. Honorary pallbearers are 50 Year + members of William F. Foster Masonic Lodge, Cameron Pacheco, Derek Marshall, and Rich Howard. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 and friends are cordially invited to visit with Wayne's family from 5 to 7 p.m. in the evening at Autry Funeral Home, Frankston.Rather than customary condolences, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
