Josephine Faye (Lewis) Wright, 73, of Noel, Mo., departed this life on Thursday evening, Aug. 2, 2018, at Freeman Hospital in Neosho, Mo. Faye entered this life on Sept. 18, 1944, in Ft. Worth, Texas, to the late Fay Paul and Josephine Solis (Williams) Lewis. She grew up in Ft. Worth, Texas then moved to Rogers, Ark., graduating from Rogers High School, went two years at the University of Arkansas in Nursing. Faye worked for St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers, Ark., Mercy Hospital in Oregon, Bates Hospital in Bentonville, Ark., and at Senior Health in Bella Vista, Ark. Faye was a member of the Pineville American Legion Auxiliary, daughters of the Nativity and Nativity of our Lord Catholic Church in Noel, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Wright and a brother, Richard Williams. On January 22, 1963, in Rogers, Ark., she was united in marriage to Jerry Clarence Wright and they shared 54 years together. Additional survivors include three children, Diana Wright of Tarkio, Mo., Jerry Wright of Noel, Mo.; two grandchildren, Ssgt. Joel Wright and his wife, Nadia of Okinawa, Japan and Ssgt. Austin Tipton and wife, Lauren of Boulder, Colo.; one great-grandson, Ryder Wright; adopted son, Adam Wright Salman; half-sister, Frances Churchill of Murrieta, Calif.; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Faye. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday morning, Aug. 7, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Nativity of our Lord Catholic Church in Noel, Mo., with Father Chaz Dunn officiating. Burial with full military honors will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018 in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Mo. The family will receive friends on Monday afternoon, Aug. 6, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. in the Noel Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes. On-line condolences may be sent to the family through our website, www.ozarkfuneralhome.com.  Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Noel, Mo.
