Roy Dean Whittenburg

Roy Dean Whittenburg, 73, of Shell Knob, died Thursday, April 19, 2018 in Springfield, Missouri. He was born April 22, 1944 in Harrison to John Elgin and Mary Estaleen Hayes Whittenburg. He is survived by ten children, Johnny Whittenburg, Mary Blount, Inetta Fryar, Roy Whittenburg Jr., Deborah Dunmire, Tammy Whittenburg, John Bamburg, Melissa Hime, Nathan Bamburg, Roy Lee Bamburg; three brothers, Donnie Whittenburg, David Whittenburg, Randy Whittenburg; six sisters, Betty Hayes, Helen Sharp, Opal Smith, Janice Pritchett, Nina Hittson, Joann Smith; 30 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three children, Deanie Whittenburg, Michael Whittenburg, Joanne Shadrick; a brother, Louise Tennison; and a sister, Sandra Hawk Whittenburg.
