Tommy Joe Blalock

Tommy Joe Blalock, 56, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away on April 10, 2018 in Fayetteville, Ark. He was born on June 9, 1961, in Memphis, Tenn., to Iley Eugene Blalock and Margie (Littleton) Young. Tommy was a very caring person who never met a stranger. He was an avid fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Raiders. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. Tommy will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, Iley Blalock and Margie Young; and a sister, Robbin Dellinger. Left to cherish Tommy's memory are his loving wife, Ellen Blalock of Fayetteville; a step-son, John Ross of Elm Springs, a daughter, Lisa Huff and her partner Billy Upton of Springdale; one brother, Larry Blalock and wife Linda of West Fork; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m., on Saturday at Westfield Chapel Funeral Home in Springdale, Ark. A private burial service will be held at a later date.
