Alex Arnold Wilson

The sun rose for Alex Arnold Wilson on December 19, 1934 in Bristol, Tennessee and after 82 years, his sun set on November 23, 2017 while residing in Bentonville, Arkansas. Upon retirement from the U.S. Air Force in 1975, he lived in California and was with U.S. Steel for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth "Lizzy" Bumgardner Wilson and Charles McCoy Wilson, one son, David Wright, two sisters, Helen "Peggy" Haworth and Willa Mae Greene and two brothers, Harold Wilson and Earl Wilson. Alex is survived by his daughter, Ronnie Simpson and her husband Wayne, of Bentonville, Arkansas, a brother, Lloyd Gray Wilson and his wife, Shirley, of Bristol, Tennessee, a sister, Wanda Carrier, three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. at Glenwood Shelby Hills Cemetery located in Bristol, Tennessee. Donations may be sent to your charity of choice. Arrangements by Epting Funeral Home Bentonville.
