Peggy June Rodgers

Peggy June Rodgers, 84, passed away Nov. 23, 2017, in Bentonville. She was born April 5, 1933, in Ozark, Ark., to John Ralph and Bessie (Hutton) Mayes. She was a great mother and was beloved by her church family. She enjoyed her neighbors at the Miller Place Complex and loved being around them. She enjoyed watching the Walking Dead and Western movies. Her battle with cancer was fought with dignity and strength. She is preceded in death by both parents; husband, Bobby Rodgers; daughter, Caroline Mortimer; brother, Bobby Dale Mayse; sisters, Clara Jean Long, Dorothy Perry and Josephine Mayse. She is survived by four sons; Bobby Dean Rodgers of Salem, Ore., Jim Rodgers of Umatilla, Ore., Donny Rodgers of Bentonville, Ark., Tommy Rodgers of Rogers, Ark.; daughters, Mary Pugh of Salem, Ore., Barbara Fields of Bulters, Mo., Ella Ince of Rush Springs, Okla.; sister, Betty Johnson of Springdale, Ark.; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday, Nov. 27, 2017, from 5-7 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, at 10 a.m. in the Rollins Funeral Home Chapel.
